Here’s our picture poem about a very large squid. The largest squid in the sea is actually called the Giant Squid! They can grow up to 13 metres long. Wow!

This poem started out when I (hi it’s Myles here!) started to think of different words that mean ‘big’. Maybe you can write a poem using as many words for big (or small) that you can find. What about a poem about a mammoth, a skycraper, a spaceship? Or instead about a mouse, a grain of sand, a flea?

Remember that every Wednesday we’re going to post a poem with a picture here on the Poetry Picture Club website. (We also have a Facebook page and Instagram account where you can follow us too). Also make sure you don’t miss any by signing up to our newsletter.
